Six 8 segment LED displays with a strong
frame of aluminum. Two-axis tilt sensors detects angel
and movement.
A number of applications can be downloaded to run on the
cube, like the classic Cellular Automata, user created
animations and different moving patterns for use as ambient
lightning.
Different pixelated icons on the sides could be used as
a tangible interface for remotely controlling external
devices. Just flip the cube an your music changes etc.

Adding
New York Univerity´s (re)discovered usage of of bi-directional
LEDs, could turn the cube into a multi-input platform, sensing
ambient lightning and touch as well as tilt.
